Dr. William C. Winegard Awards – Call for Nominations

Honourable Dr. William Charles Winegard
September 17, 1924 – January 31, 2019

Veteran, former Guelph MP and former University of Guelph president Officer of the Order of Canada, recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal, Lincoln Alexander Medal of Distinguished Service and the Lincoln Alexander Outstanding Leader Award.

A supporter of community and an avid volunteer, the ‘Exemplary Volunteer Involvement Awards’ are in honour and named after the Right Honorable Dr. William C. Winegard
