Rotary in Guelph and Wellington County Celebrates their Volunteers and Community Agencies
The Rotary Clubs of Guelph, Fergus and Elora are proud to celebrate the amazing volunteers and the organizations they serve during this incredible year.
To help celebrate 100 years of Rotary in Guelph, and in keeping with Rotary’s commitment to Service above Self, the Rotary Club of Guelph Trillium recognized 100 volunteers who contributed their time, passion and energy to support non-profit organizations in our city and the surrounding community with A Community Volunteer Award.
The breadth of the contribution of the recipients highlighted the extent of the volunteer spirit in Guelph and the surrounding community. The recipients ranged in age from teenagers to senior citizens. They volunteered by sitting on boards; making, packaging and delivering food, sewing masks or collecting personal protective equipment; or, advocating for those less fortunate. They contributed their unique skills ranging from computer knowledge, education expertise or financial planning. Volunteers are the backbone of our community support system, and the following organizations thank the volunteer recipients for the critical support they provide to their organizations.
