Make December HOT!
We provide connections and leadership in Guelph and Wellington County to support the development of individuals and organizations. We help people navigate essential community services through our Community Information program, provide a hub for volunteer opportunities and engagement through our Volunteer Network, and enable best practices and continuous learning for professionals in the non-profit sector through our Nonprofit Leadership pillar of work.
As a nonprofit, we appreciate our supporters, funders and grant providers and those who donate and assist us in offering these programs and services in Guelph Wellington. Building upon the spirit of the ‘Giving Tuesday’ campaign locally and around the world, we are welcoming our community to give and share the warmth to others during this cold weather.
We would like to announce that, with thanks to Breezy Corners, they are donating $1 to PIN for each hot chocolate sold during the first three Tuesdays In December. In addition, we are spreading awareness that there is also an option to purchase a hot chocolate to be donated to the those who need warmth in Guelph. Cold winters are a challenging reality for Guelph’s street entrenched community but you can pay it forward by purchasing hot chocolate ‘tickets’ and Breezy Corners will share with local organizations who serve and support those experiencing homelessness.
For each hot chocolate you purchase, you can spread the warmth two fold; the donation from Breezy Corners to PIN and the ‘pay it forward’ hot chocolate to warm another on a cold winter’s day!
Breezy Corners also has a Donated Breakfast program where customers can purchase a full breakfast for a discounted rate of $5.95, Breezy Corners covers the tax, adds a hot beverage which is then given to a person in need of warmth and nourishment. What a great way to give back to the community!
