The Community Information program was initially born through the vision of United Way Guelph Wellington Dufferin.
In the 1970’s, the organization, now known as the United Way Guelph Wellington Dufferin, created Guelph Information – an information and referral service that helped residents access community services.
Since 2004, PIN (formerly the Volunteer Centre of Guelph Wellington) led this vital local community resource with funding from the United Way and Home and Community Support Services.
PIN has appreciated the opportunity to lead this work locally along with peer data providers in the province. We have been a proud partner of 211 who offers enhanced public access.
