Volunteering is an extension of who Celeste is

Celeste

Volunteering is an extension of who I am. Through volunteering, I’m able to help others, build my community, strengthen families, and set an example for my children.

Currently, I serve on the Volunteer Centre’s Board of Directors, with The Salvation Army, as well as on The Co-operators Charity Golf Tournament Committee. I also devote volunteer time for tree planting with my family, to support Michael House’s annual Christmas party, and by singing with the Toronto Mass Choir which is also a non-profit that does mission work and provides youth scholarships.

I am very proud to work for The Co-operators. Staff receive two paid days to volunteer each year and I have the pleasure of overseeing the co-op’s ten Volunteers in Action groups actross the county who work diligently to bring volunteer opportunities to our staff. The Co-operators’ genuine concern for community speaks to me – it’s so fulfilling working for a company and with colleauges whose core values align with my own.
