The Volunteer Centre of Guelph/Wellington is a community benefit organization with a mission to provide resources and leadership to enable the development of people and organizations. We run a variety of programs including an Information and Referral Service called Community Information Guelph. We require a detail oriented and self-motivated individual to be the:

Information and Referral Administrator – Community Information Guelph

You will be responsible for providing information and referral services directly through phone, email & walk-in service. You will assist in updating records in the Community Information Guelph database, as per AIRS standards, and will train and support volunteers and staff of the Volunteer Centre and partner organizations. You will also maintain statistical records and produce customized data resources for special projects, as required.

Desired qualifications include: strong written and verbal communication skills, a solid comprehension of the principals of good customer service and computer literacy, including demonstrated skill in navigating database software. A familiarity with non-profit and charitable organizations in Guelph/Wellington would be an asset. This is a permanent position, based on 35 hours per week.
