ChangeTheWorld: Ontario Youth Volunteer Challenge is a six-week province wide campaign with one goal: to get high school students involved in volunteer initiatives. This means there will be lots of volunteer activities for you to choose from! In recent campaigns, 916 youth volunteered over 5,000 hours in Guelph and Wellington. They volunteered at the Village of Riverside Glen, Rotary Forest Earth Day, the University of Guelph and more. You can get involved too! Interested? By volunteering, you will get an opportunity to connect to community organizations which can provide you with an amazing experience and lasting memories. And what’s more exciting? If you volunteer for 3 hours or more between April 23rd and June 3rd, you can request a certificate from the Ministry of Citizenship, Immigration and International Trade and Volunteer Centre of Guelph/Wellington as recognition for your contribution to the community.
